100 Years Ago, women took to the streets and demanded the right to vote. What will you fight for this year? We the women of the free world are the majority, and yet not only are we not covered under the Constitution of the United States, but we ostensibly need a Violence Against Women Act to protect us. Yet with the new act, we are forced to share what little funds we have with Gay men and non-citizens, as well as with any other peoples our government can find to share the already paltry sum amongst!

Still hanging after all these years? Free us now! ERA to free women – we are the niggers of the world!

How disgusting that we, the women of the greatest country on earth, need an act specifically created to address the violence directed against us in the first place. But now, to have to share it with others totally negates the reason we fought for specific protection in the first place.
Is there nothing our government holds sacred for the female majority of the population? Are there not hate crimes in effect for gays? Are there no other recourse acts to be drafted for others in need that we women, who die at the rate of 4 a day, need to share our pitiful sum, stretch our already overtaxed resources to the breaking point, when not even a dent has been made all these years in lowering the staggering numbers of women who suffer and even die from gender related violence?
What was wrong with the Violence Against Women Act before the Democrats decided to alter it and force the Republicans to sign on or risk being held responsible for denying women protection? Once again, women are being used as pawns. And once again, we settle for crumbs at the Liberal table!
Where oh where were the women while this travesty against women was going on? How many of our own daughters must be slain, battered, and raped before we realize that we have once again laid down for the man and his political machine rather than for our own benefit?
CRY for the women who are dying so that the Liberal can continue to allow havoc to be wreaked upon women and blame it on a war coming from someplace else, when it actually comes straight from the liberal table set by the Democrats and their molls!
Shame on the conservative men and women who refused to step up and fight for all women—who refuse to expose this travesty for what it is. Shame on all those who repeatedly sell out women in the name of government!

Blackout: Is abortion ever murder to a LIBERAL?

Kermit Gosnell is an abortionist on trail for murder and the liberal media can’t figure out how to write the word abortionist and murderer in the same sentence. They can’t figure out how to describe hundreds of infant body parts in jars, bodies in garbage bags,in freezers when they’ve spent so much time describing them as “blobs” and “masses of cells”. They can’t justify the horrific photos of infanticide by equating them to their feel good mantra of “its all about a women’s reproductive rights”. Because maybe you would question how exactly do all those bloody scenes that included the deaths, forced sterilzation and infections of women actually relate to a women’s reproductive rights.

They can’t post a photo of a born alive infant and write a obituary that says died from having his doctor make the “choice” to cut his spinal cord.

They can’t figure out how to explain why it was scissors  that murdered a 8 month “screaming” fully viable infant when lawmakers are demanding laws to protect “our children” from being murdered by guns. They can’t explain why 5 year olds murdered in school are “our most precious assets” yet a 8 month born alive murdered on a mad mans butchering table isn’t worth a damn.

They can’t figure out how to explain Gosnells comments “that this baby could walk to the bus stop” during a “snipping” procedure that is defined as “a women’s right” and not a survivors right to medical care because if you asked why no medical care for an infant born alive during an abortion

they would then have to explain Obama voted against the born alive infant protection act calling it “a burden on a mother” and they can’t do that because then you would know he did indeed do that and his mantra of saving “just one child” would be called hypocritical. They can’t explain why these minority low income murders haven’t warranted “if I had a son he would look like.. the hundreds of photos in evidence.

They can’t explain why nail salons are regulated but abortion clinics aren’t because then they’d have to explain to you that regulating  abortion clinics is refered to as “a war on womens reproductive rights” the Left uses regulation as a weapon and the Right fears their weapon.

Women’s rights groups are blacking out the  Gosnell story also because they can’t explain how  they will fight for womens right to birth control and to abortion but not for a womens right to be educated on both nor a womens right to have an abortion in a regulated facility just like a hospital as a women who chooses to deliver her baby does.

Since its all about womens rights why aren’t they speaking about her right to be protected from the monsters who prey on her vulnerability. These Women they profess to fight for are being abused.

What happened to the mantra of “legal, safe and rare”?

Some of those who have come forward were 15 years old. One describes 8 abortions and being told that was “normal” she is now in her twenties and can’t conceive. These young girls are our children and why are strangers in a “reputable” clinic advising our children on abortion without our knowledge. Ask Planned ParentHood and liberals who lobbied against parental notification. Where’s the outrage that a 15 year old girl was drugged and tied to a bed because she Changed her mind? She’s also sterile and dreams about the baby she saw born and murdered.

You’ve come along way Baby.

As I write the left women blame the right and grasp at the fear factor..shocking is there is not one mention of the horrors, plenty of “this is what happens when women are forced into back alleys by the right. Not shocking is that they would ignore the facts..this was an 20 year established legal 1.3 million dollar womens “health” clinic, Gosnells fees were as high as 1,600 hardly a “back alley’ abortion clinic and most of his patients were black low income women, white women had a seperate room as “they were most likely to report” says Gosnell.

So were are the minority leaders on the left? Trayvon Martins death warranted Sharpton, Jackson and every liberal I know to march in protest. The media coverage was non stop yet hundreds of mutilated black babies in the garbage..crickets.

And the right runs away in fear of the explosive racial keg that is.. abortion.

The silence is deafening but if they explain you get to ask questions. You get to ask WTH is a partial birth abortions? And then you would be horrified to know and even more horrified to know your taxpayer dollars fund the likes of Gosnells house of horrors.

.. and maybe the truth is many of you don’t want it explained but I believe the blackout is directed at the majority of you who are unaware of what “late term and partial birth abortions” mean The Gosnell story opens the floodgates in very graphic details, horrifying images and they all know that a story about a puppy found in a garbage bag generates outrage and they know if you knew hundreds of viable babies were found in garbage bags that would generate outrage and that outrage would force a conversation about abortions and conversations about abortions would open the flood gates

to what we are capable of and what we are capable of is  horrifying and horrifying would bring about changes to a BIllION dollar industry and effect the politicans who depend upon the millions of abortion issue voters, a political party that depends upon “the  war on women”, the hundreds of women’s groups that rely on “reproductive rights” to divide women, minority leaders who divide and profit

Because in the end its not about the women or infanticide its about politics and money and votes and GREED.

Its best you’re  kept in the dark.

But some of us are shedding light on Gosnell and we are tweeting, facebooking,  blogging so this horror opens a dialogue to who decides that a football players imaginary girlfriend is news and Gosnells House of Horrors is not and more importantly it must Open a dialogue to what is morally unacceptable.

MURDER BY ANY NAME

TODAY, BY USING TAX DOLLARS TO FUND ABORTION, OBAMA PUTS EVERY TAX-PAYER INSIDE THE ABORTION ROOM AS DE FACTO PARTICIPANTS IN THE TAKING OF INNOCENT LIVES. CAN AMERICANS LIVE WITH THAT?

Abortion, partial-birth, infanticide, they all meet the profile. America is progressively moving into a new era of the slaughter of the innocents. A baby is born. It takes its first breath of life, its heart beats, it hears voices. Feeling every nerve in its newborn body, it experiences the marvel of a profound consciousness outside of the womb. Instead of being swathed in warm blankets and celebrated as new life – it is placed in a waste bin or on a shelf and left to die. It is to suffer death through dehydration and starvation. To expedite death, a more efficient means to end its life is now being proposed: out-right murder. The newborn’s crime, it survived an abortion.

If you can sit back in your easy chair and get comfortable with this, then something is extremely wrong with you. If you can accept abortion-infanticide, look at your hands, there is blood on them. If you can casually look the other way, then you are part of the “good is evil and evil is good” crowd. Too brutal; think again. Too brutal is the practice of an abortionist taking the life of a partially-birthed baby by crushing its skull during a late-term pregnancy. That is – too brutal.

Last week in Florida, legislators were told that babies who are born as viable, living human beings – that survive after a failed abortion attempt – could or should be killed if that is the rendered verdict of the abortion doctor and the [anesthetized] mother. Alisa LaPolt Snow, a lobbyist for Florida’s Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, reportedly stated the group’s position is that the abortion “doctor and mother should have the right to decide” to take the life of a breathing baby. No matter its condition, healthy or otherwise, newborn babies who manage to survive an abortion can, under the proposal, face the death penalty. The proposed death sentence is not so much about physical viability, but the burden of the baby itself. With the mother’s health or survival not in question and in no way threatened, without judge or jury, abortion advocates suggest that small, unprotected human beings may be destroyed.

More than fifty million babies have been discarded since abortion was legalized in 1973. Abortion led to partial-birth abortion and now leads to the suggested murder of newborns. Did no one foresee that the threshold of the killing of innocents in the womb would eventually be breached? Did no one see it coming? Does no one understand what is next to come?

To think that abortion has nothing to do with you and your family is pure naiveté. To understand why this has happened and what is to come, read the book “Darwin’s Racists – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” In as simple terms as possible, I lay out the Liberal mentality that devalues the life of not only the unborn, but of every citizen. The book details what everyone, irrespective of age, sex, race, or social status, can expect in regard to their right to life. Written as an alert for the uninformed, the book is a warning of what happens when faith and values are withdrawn and replaced by a callous secularism that serves itself at the expense of individual rights and freedoms. By secreting real intent, Secular-Progressives have turned “good is evil and evil is good” into a political movement.

Life and death decisions for your family are already being shifted out of your control.  It is becoming clearer by the day that innocent, unnamed babies will not be the only casualties. As Socialist-elites in Washington retain power and seek more, expect increasing control by them of life and death issues that impact you and your family. From public funded abortions, to comfort care — not cures — for our elderly, life is being methodically devalued. Quality medical care is now deprioritized by law as Socialist-elites thirst for ever more power over your lives. The same people who sustain the abortion movement are behind Obamacare and its well-funded 15-member death panel headed up by Obama’s hand-picked over-seer who openly professes his zeal for socialized medicine.

In March 2001, before the Illinois legislature, then State Senator Barack Obama spoke against protecting the rights of both the unborn and the newborn whether murdered inside or outside the womb. Members of the Illinois 92nd General Assembly stated that its key concern was:

That the way children [who survive an abortion] are treated following their birth — after these circumstances — has been reported to be…less than humane…and so this bill suggests that appropriate steps be taken to treat that baby as a – a citizen of the United States and afforded all the rights and protections it deserves under the Constitution of the United States. (Emphasis added)

Obama disagreed. The only state senator to oppose the protection of newborns that survive an abortion, he called the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act “unconstitutional.”  Today, Obama openly lobbies for the abortion industry as Obamacare funds abortions with tax-payer dollars.

Key to President Obama’s agenda is his policy of increased abortions and sterilizations. Obama, however, is not the only political elite with a clear Darwinian eugenics’ mind-set. Potential 2016 Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton proudly accepted Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger award in 2009. The award is Planned Parenthood’s highest honor in recognition of its acknowledged founder. Upon accepting the award, Mrs. Clinton stated openly that she is “in awe of Margaret Sanger” – a secular-Progressive who called for the murder of toddlers up to the age of two should they be a burden on their family. (A chapter is written about Clinton’s idolized-abortionist, Sanger – a Darwin worshipper – in the book, Darwin’s Racists.)

Reportedly, Planned Parenthood now wants to expand the term abortion to provide cover for the actual killing of an unwanted infant after its live birth. It is an attempt to persuade others to call abortion by anything but its real name – murder. Using the term “aborted” and not “murdered” allows its perpetrators to deflect from the evil that it really is – the taking of a human life.

The assault on the unborn through abortion led to the barbaric act of partial birth or late-term abortions, which has now led to the proposed butchering of babies in what is being called abortion-infanticides. Testimony in an ongoing trial in Pennsylvania cites that the spines of living babies are cut to kill them if they survive an abortion. At the same time, the Florida legislature hears testimony that a law needs to be passed to allow and sanction the murder of babies that are born-alive at abortion clinics. Darwinism and eugenics thrive among Liberal-Socialists in Washington. Today, the Darwinian-Socialists have a tax-payer funded 15-member panel of unelected judges set to decide life and death medical care for people of all ages. Today, by using tax dollars to fund abortion, Obama puts every tax-payer inside the abortion room as de facto participants in the taking of innocent lives. Can Americans live with that?

Eve Ensler: ONE BILLION RISING, 2/14/13 V-Day’s most ambitious campaign yet

Eve,
I absolutely spread the word far and wide and made sure all my contacts did the same. I am writing to share how shocked I was that in all my years advocating for women and working in the filed  fighting violence against women – that this is the first time I have heard about ONE BILLION RISING! What a fantastic idea- thank you and please help me and other groups understand how to help make sure every woman and girl is aware of it in time to participate in ONE BILLION RISING 2014.

I am concerned that all women’s groups are not united and therefore our rally cries are not loud enough and powerful enough to shake the foundations of power against us. What can we do to enlist other women’s groups to engage in each other’s causes, to encourage all women to participate in every movement out there that empowers women? What can we do together to show the powers that be we really are a power to be reckoned with? As a whole, women do not present a united front; instead we are the women against violence, mothers against drunks, LGBT, Pro Life, Pro Choice, Anti War etc. etc. When will we just be the majority that we are? When will we again present ourselves as the WOMEN of America

You are absolutely right 33% of us will be beaten or raped, 4 a day in this country are murdered at the hands of a loved one who had beaten them before and was released to kill. About 50 % of us are adamantly against the other 50% politically, which mockingly keeps us politically weakened and unable to hold positions of power at home, on the job or in politics. An even larger percent ( I estimate upwards of 85%) of us is powerless financially because we are not united enough to grab and hold the power to self govern.

We stand at the point of sink or swim, we rally for particular issues and it’s like missing the forest for the trees. We are woman- we are the majority. The violence stops when we have our rights and full power. We won’t have that till we stop fighting amongst ourselves over the issues that were manufactured to keep us divided and fighting amongst ourselves. That old “a house divided against itself cannot stand” is true. Let history teach us and others that united we can overcome. We women are equal and can stand ready to lead and rule our own lives. Let’s demand respect, full equality, an end to violence can only come when we are united as the majority, powerful and voting as one block demanding full rights to self govern. Let the issues remain issues to be dealt with when we are in the position to govern but lets first get in the position to self govern.

Women’s History Month begins on Friday, March 1, 2013 (in 8 days) and ends on Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Bergen County Let Me Down: Violence against Women Ignored and 4 Women a Day Die

Today as I sat in court awaiting my case I was shocked to see no less than 7 DV cases go unheard because the women did not take the case forward. Whatever happened to the state proceeding without the woman because she may be afraid to testify? I saw officers agree to allow the state to drop the case.
Some abused women came in but said they did not want to proceed, a few called in saying they wanted to drop the charges and some simply did not appear. A parade of men came and went in and out without a care in the world, allegedly having violated the women they are intimate with.
What a horrible shame on two counts. First that the women let these men get away with violating them physically, but what about these punks that hit women and walk in here as if they are not the least bit ashamed of their behavior. I saw one man fondling and kissing her after the court and thanking her- she didn’t look happy about it at all. I saw another woman sitting there looking scared to death and she didn’t leave his side for a second. I could not help but look at these gems and think – gee what a prize that lady just saved from his consequences so he can be free to hurt her again!
On the other hand, I was there to see my case through. Having procured a final protection order from the county seat a few months back after the Judge found him guilty of terroristic threats, I was surprised to learn another county division downgraded the threat to kill case to a simple harassment and sent it back to Lodi to be heard. Funny no one spoke to me about that to be sure I wouldn’t drop the charges – or to be sure how much danger I was in. Did they think a protection order would keep me alive from a lunatic? In any case I was blindsided by that move but I proceeded to trial.
The defendant, my son, was found guilty but because the charge was downgraded he got what amounted to a slap on the wrist and a minimal fine compared to the seriousness of the crime he should have been found guilty of. The judge could only find him guilty of the charges before her and no more.
Downgrading a threat to kill to simple harassment is a serious injustice against me by the county. I did not get my day in court- and if anything happens to me – it is blood on their hands. I did not drop charges – I followed through – the county let me down. This is the reason 4-5 women a day are found dead in the USA- even when they don’t drop the charges and they are willing to show up – they do not get the justice and protection they deserve. Wake up America- a protection order is not a guarantee on saving a life!

SEX SELLS? 
It sure does that’s why they do it! But who is doing all the buying?

Seems to me most of the sex selling is selling women and girls as objects to be used and abused by men and you would think that it appeasl mosts to men BUT, since women do most of the buying –  please explain to me why women are buying? How is selling women and girls as objects a benefit to our women? Why are our women buying the very items that lend themselves to our demise? The very items that make men rich while they demean us? Think not- think again! Stick with me over the course of my photo essay and I will unfold how they have and continue to escallate this insideous and not so secret offensive against the femle population in our society and thereby poison the the children from birth to have a skewed view of a hypersexualalized America.

Think I am exaggerating- I am going to bring you the proof! For 35 years I have harped now I am going to bring you physical proof, seeing is believing! This is what we are force feeding our children from birth. Both male and female are being normalized to believe what their lying eyes tell them about females based on what we project before them with what we wear and allow them to see as normal. Oh its normal alright and so is the resulting reprecussions of violence and abuse to our femle population now. Is this what we wanted?

Just as the women under Shar’ia law accept their fate to be lower than dogs and their men believe they are the slave masters without question- we in America are conditioning our children to believe females are sexual objects and prey, rather than equals and males are sexual predators/dominators rather than equals.

So sex sells- somebody is buying it folks and it is up to us to put them out of the business of selling these ideas to our baby girls and boys!

Although many think that the shoes are just too cute, others believe they are hideous. Some people believe that putting high heels on a baby is perverted and will rob them of their innocence. Hayden Porter responded with,” A 3-month old baby has no idea she’s wearing high heels.”

To which I respond- every pedophile in town will enjoy the baby in stilettos! Let’s just put them on at birth and let’s make G-String diapers while we are at it – maybe tampon diapers too? Damned idiots!

What is a female? A Female is depicted by others everyday all day long all over the world. Does anyone anywhere even know who or what a female is anymore? Does a female even know who she is? Ask her – she will tell you who she is to someone else no doubt! Lately it has become vogue to brag about being a mother. ‘As a Mom’, ‘Proud to be a mom’, ‘A Million Moms’ ‘Just a Mom’.

I am one of those and belong to every one of those online groups and darn happy to be a mom a grand mom and a great grand mom and proud to belong to all of the mom groups as well.

I am also a US citizen and proud to be one – and a wife and proud to be one a daughter and proud to be one but I am ultimately a female and when I take away all the other labels –I remain far and away a female. I need to know that as one of 52% of civilization – and of all of the population, I am something unique unto myself as well as a part of something and someone else!

How many of us unique females have no children, husband, siblings, or parents alive. What does that make us– nothings?

I dare say we had damned well better wake up and recognize that we are so much more than someone else’s something, subordinate only to them. As proud as we are to be part of a family, a marriage, and as parents we have forgotten we are in the end individuals.

If you are a religious or God fearing individual- God made you in his image – you are responsible to him for what you do about you too.   Religious or envirionmentalists — as females we are the majority on this earth and as such we have a responsibility to be lights and good stewards and responsible to teach our daughters and our sons by example.  As an example we should not be turning our backs  away from what is wrong but we need to turn against it.

 The time is now! There is a war on woman all across this world and it is up to every woman to stand up and say NO! Sadly, we spend less time on the community of women and to helping each other, which would strengthen our causes then we do on fighting each other. Indeed, it takes a village and yet we fight against other never realizing we are our worse enemies when we should be our best warriors.  Think again!

It is up to women to teach our sons and daughters that females are to be highly respected and we are to be accepted just as we are! We are not second-class citizens- not here – not anywhere around the world – let us stand up and start acting like it! We are woman first – not black women – not Hispanic – not gay- not straight – not someone’s wife or daughter first – to our own selves we need to be true!

Ask yourself — What is a female? Make sure you know your worth and be prepared to teach it to others – to your chidren!

Look at your daughters – know what a female is. When you look at your little girl – do you airbrush her perfect? Doesn’t she deserve to be a first class human being or are you raising her to be someone’s something? When you see a report of a wife missing or found dead at the hand of her husband – do you realize that could be your daughter you gave to a husband in marriage? Did you give her as a peice of property? Do you think those parents ever dreamed of such horror? In many religions, men are reared to treat their women this way and  these customs are coming here. Not that our men have not been bad enough here all along.

We are faced with two extremes regarding the treatment and condition of women right here in the US. There is a liberal or a conservative view – Sexualization or Religion both render her less than! Neither extreme is acceptable and we have no right to decide which box is right for your daughters! Human rights belong to every female and each of us is born with inalienable rights. These rights are being abrogated by man and government and it is being tolerated by the majority of our citizens in this the US an otherwise free country.

We the women of the US are not subjects of the government- slaves to our husbands nor are we subject to the churches. We are free human beings, brainwashed into submission by men who we can simply out vote by uniting against them and demanding our civil and human rights!

WHY? Because we women have not stood, up and said NO! We have hidden our eyes from the truth! Women in our society are disrespected and we can stop it now.

Women appear to be brainwashed, given only two choices, Conservative or Liberal- Madonna or the whore. It’s only natural to fear the antithesis of the box we were forced into. If we break out of these boxes and stop fighting for the same booby prizes we can achieve the main goal. Why settle to be with a big wig who can at any time toss us aside when we can be the big wig ourselves? I would rather be in control than behind someone in control of me!

I wonder why Vanity Fair digitally altered Beyonce’s image to appear several shades lighter on their cover.

3.) Kate Winslet

Although denies any retouching was done for her 2008 Vanity Fair photo shoot, a professional airbrusher interviewed by the Daily Mail disagrees:  “There is no real detail in her face. Any detail or wrinkles have been removed. There are no eye bags, contours and smile lines. Her bottom has been rounded off so it looks nice and pert. I would be very surprised if her bottom was like that naturally.”

The Redbook editors plucked Roberts head from a paparazzi shot taken at the 2002 People’s Choice Awards while her body was borrowed from the Notting Hill movie premiere four years ago. The clipped-together photo is accompanied by a headline that blares, without a trace of irony, “The Real Julia.”

Apparently Kelly Clarkson grew tired of Howard Stern making cracks about her ass and did something about it, or shall I say had her airbrusher do something about it.

The airbrushing later became so pronounced on her new album cover that Clarkson barely recognized herself. On a blog entry she wrote: “Its very colorful and they have definitely Photoshopped the crap out of me . . . Whoever she is, she looks great, ha!”

9.) The Women of the Israeli Cabinet

In a move straight out of Pravda, the Israeli ultra-Orthodox newspaper Yated Neeman airbrushed two female cabinet members out of a picture of the Israeli Cabinet and replaced them with two men not even in the cabinet.  The newspaper claims picturing women violates their laws of modesty but here in the States it simply violates our laws of common decency.

 
 

10.) The Dove Soap Women

Remember the Dove Soap campaign featuring “real”, full-figured women instead of the airbrushed, fake supermodels we’ve grown so accustomed to? Even when Madison Avenue ad executives try to keep it real, their itchy airbrush fingers get the best of them.

According to retoucher Pascal Dangin, these ladies were just as fake as the supermodels we so love to poke fun at. “Do you know how much retouching was on that?” he asked. “But it was great to do, a challenge, to keep everyone’s skin and faces showing the mileage but not looking unattractive.”

 

Gentlemen, next time your lady tells you the Hollywood ideal of beauty is impossible to live up to, believe her. And Ladies next time you think only a trollop posses for these things – think of the Israeli Cabinet members who disapeared.

Please do not write me comments about the women who pose for these- it is easy to blame women and leave the men blameless or to blame men but the truth is this: Sex sells because we have been selling women forever. For all of history we have been selling women- there are more of us then there are of them – let’s just stand up and stop it now when and where we can! ? Start with the advertisers. ‘Boycott them – but do it collectively so one gets hurt badly at a time- one at a time money talks!

What is a Female – do you know? How will you explain it to your 3 year old? Do you want to tell her she must grow up to be a mother even if her body will never make her one? Do you want to teach her to submit to a man who may beat her to death? Do you want to teach your 3 year old boy not to believe what his lying eyes tell him to believe ? She is not what he thinks she is – she is not what you think she is either!

Surrogate friends needed for strangled victim and Ketra’s daughters

If the real friends of Ketra are too afraid of the Turner family, and based on the attacks I can’t blame you, then we will have to show them that the rest of us will not be bullied into keeping quiet or backing down or caving in to their bullying and bashing of Ketra.

So will the real friends of all battered women please step forward?

Gregory Scott Turner’s friends and family are trashing this woman left and right in order to turn the victim of strangulation into the perpetrator and the perpetrator into the victim. Not only his family but his male roommates from college are on this quest to destroy the girls’ mother’s reputation just to preserve the father’s reputation. Isn’t it odd that the living parent should be destroyed by the family of the dead parent? That very man who the girls watched abused their mother. This will seal their fate as they grow up to believe their father died a hero and women deserve to be beaten and are bad. This couple has two daughters both witnesses to a horrendous crime. Should these girls have to find only one side of the story and that being that their mother was a cheating bitch who deserves to be beaten and caused her wonderful husband – their daddy to be dead?

 I think not! I think these girls are already in a family that condones domestic violence and they are going to need all the help they can get. If they are going to find news – let them find news that there were groups like this out there that said NO!

Update, December 20, 10:14 a.m.: UC Irvine criminology student Gregory Scott Turner, who was wanted for the attempted murder of his wife last week, was found dead in San Juan Capistrano Friday afternoon.

An autopsy report is pending, but it is believed the 33-year-old took his own life. He was discovered by campus police who tracked Turner through the GPS signal from his cell phone.

His wife, who was taken to a safe house after treatment at a hospital, has been identified as 32-year-old Ketra Batiste-Turner.

Original Post, December 16, 8:40 a.m.: A 7-year-old girl called 9-1-1 Wednesday afternoon to report her father, in front of her and her 5-year-old sister, beat their mother to unconsciousness in their campus apartment at UC Irvine.

A manhunt is now under way for Gregory Scott Turner.

Or, the 33-year-old criminology student’s body.

Campus police believe Turner, who is wanted for attempted murder, may be suicidal.

They say he tried to strangle his wife during a violent confrontation in their Verano Place apartment before the emergency call was made around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Turner was last seen driving a 2006 blue Chevy truck with the license plate 8P53538.

His daughters, who were not physically harmed during the attack, are now in protective custody while their mother is being treated at a local hospital.

Verona Place is the same UCI apartment complex where Brian Hughes Benedict is alleged to have chased his ex-wife Rebecca Clarke out of her unit on Sept. 13, 2009, before shooting her to death in the parking lot. Their 4-year-old son was strapped into a car seat in the lot at the time.

His family demonstrates a violent temperament striking out in rage and vengeance with threats. Hi sister Amanda admits to being a victim of 15 years of battery by the hands of her own husband so this kind of wife beating is acceptable to this family and apparently these innocent children will be expected to tolerate the same.

 I would like to share some of the comments about Ketra and have folks please come and defend her . She is the victim here and does not deserve to be disgraced so that the memory of her brutal husband can be glorified and the blame be shifted from him to her as deserving to be beaten to a pulp and strangled and left for dead.

I agree with Heather. For the Turner girls Justis and Memorie – we all need to step up and say – it is not ok to beat a woman for any reason. It is not OK! Whatever else happened to Greg Turner- he had no right to beat and strangle their mother – he was a wife beater and an attempted murderer and their mother did not deserve to be touched for any reason on earth.

Women’s Rights…

• We don’t really have them. We don’t really need them.

• We fight for them. We fight against them.

• We believe in them. We denounce them.

• We believe in the value of the advancement of all women. Or, we believe in the value of the advancement of all women based upon certain political and religious views.

• We fight against violence, sexism, misogyny, political and socio-economic oppression. We passively condone violence, sexism and misogyny and political and socio-economic oppression.

• We denounce corrupt, patriarchal misogynist leaders in other countries. We vote for and elect versions of corrupt, patriarchal misogynist leaders in our own.

Movement on one side – creates a Reaction from the other.

Why not a 52% Response to solve the problems we face?

One thing We can say for sure about Women’s Rights: Does it even matter if we have them if we fail miserably in intelligently using them – especially if we fail to use them in a manner that further benefits and empowers women and girls?

For 52% of the population of women in the United States, how much have we actually influenced policy-making in the past 10 years?  Are we pleased with U.S. policy, the management of our economy or the loss of entire industries to overseas interests? The result is an annual trade deficit of nearly 500 Billion dollars and trillions of dollars in debt to foreign governments, some who are not really our friends – and some who treat women and girls worse than their animals. That’s a fact!

As 52%, do we even care about government corruption and our elections being under the control of corporate, political party and foreign power brokers, rather than in the hands of the citizens who willingly pay to support their country? How much do women contribute? Think about all of the ways women try and do their part and think about all of the ways their abilities are interfered with or exploited in ways that are harmful to them and society.

As 52%, do we truly understand the impact of sexist and misogynistic assaults on women political candidates and upon all women in society?

As 52%, do we truly understand the impact of Domestic Violence, Rape, Sexism and Misogyny and Cultural, Religious, Political and Socio-Economic Oppression upon our society?

As 52%, are there any current conservative, moderate or liberal political leaders that women can trust or who could be elected in such a politically corrupt? How do 52%  get them elected, hold them accountable, and introduce or show support for policies that advances women and drastically reduces violence against women to the benefit of society?

The Chain is Only as Strong as the Weakest Link

To which political ideology should we assign blame for diminishing the power of 52% as a voting block for real change in how our government enacts policy that inures to the benefit of all society – rather than primarily benefiting corporations, the wealthy and political parties?

Should we blame conservative women, moderate women, passive women, feminists or non-feminist women?

Or, should we narrow it down to stay-at-home-moms, intent on raising their children in healthy environments and guiding their choices to a positive result?

Or, should we blame working moms, intent on providing for their children and striving to advance their lives to healthier environments and greater opportunities for positive results?

Or, should we blame poor and disadvantaged moms, raising their children in economically oppressed and violent neighborhoods – or their children who are barely surviving those environments physically, mentally and emotionally?

Maybe we should blame all of the women who have ever been or now find themselves trapped in abusive relationships – or those who have been raped or murdered by someone they knew?

Oh, what the heck, let’s blame all of the women and girls who are succumbing to male aggression all over the world, every minute of the day, who may influence how many of us view women by culture, race and class in a positive or negative light?

Whatever demographic of women we might blame; it won’t make one iota of a difference in the facts. Children are being sexually abused, mostly by males – teens are being raped, mostly by males and, it’s mostly girls that are being pressured into having sex at an earlier and earlier age, resulting in a pandemic of kids having children – should we blame them too – or, just their mothers?

Regardless of whom the perpetrators are, or their demographics, women will bear the majority of the consequences and the ultimate responsibility for developing underfunded solutions to all of the gender-related problems they face – in a still largely impenetrable global patriarchal society.

Do we really have the time or energy for…

Aisha’s Afghani butcher arrested

The father-in-law, Haji Suleman, of a 18 year old Afghan woman who said her nose and ears were sliced off to punish her for running away from her violent husband has been arrested, the Afghan Interior Ministry said Wednesday. Aisha said she ran away to escape her in-laws’ beatings and abuse.

Under orders from a Taliban commander acting as a judge, she was disfigured last year as punishment for fleeing her husband’s home, according to Time’s story in August and other accounts.

When Aisha, appeared on the Aug. 9 cover of Time magazine, the world was outraged and she became the face of Islamic domestic violence against women under Sharia Law. According to the NY Times Afghan police unable to get to the remote village, carried out the arrest when the suspect visited a bazaar.

“It would have taken 100 armored vehicles to go in there to that village,” the district police chief, Mohammed Gul, said according to the Times.

It is not clear if he has been formally charged but he was being held in jail in Uruzgan province. Suleman said he was “innocent” making the following statement ,

 

“Aisha’s father is accusing me,” he added. “He had proposed to me to kill her because she had brought shame on him after she fled her house.”

Aisha’s father, who was identified only as Mohammadzai, wants his daughter returned.

“She has been kidnapped by foreigners from my house,” … “I want her back.”

Aisha was sent to Los Angeles over the summer for reconstructive surgery. In September, she was fitted with a temporary, prosthetic nose so she could visualize what she would look like and to help build her confidence.

We need to be sure to give Aisha asylum in the United States and she needs time to assimilate into our culture before she ever feel comfortable as a being with the right to be whole. Welcome to America Aisha.
