Obvious Hate Attack on America’s Femcitizens

Another Rant By: BettyJean Kling

It is about time that women rise up and take these jackasses to task on this very obvious hate against Sarah Palin and all women who dare run against the Democratic machine. What was it Democrats told Hillary supporters after they (Dems) stole, cajoled and otherwise managed to coerce the super delegates from her in the primary in spite of her winning the states from which they abandoned their pledges to her? Get over IT!

I suggest they Get over IT! They’ve got their panties all in a bunch and their heads are exploding because she is unbreakable and gaining in popularity daily. These folks are attacking her and her family relentlessly. The same old arguments over and over even though no one outside of Obama followers care, even revising the same old arguments from the 2008 election.

For example; in a recent article Attack on Michelle Obama shows Palin’s ignorance of history
Richard Cohen, quotes Michelle Obama, while attributing the quote to Palin whose book he wants you to know he would not bother to read.

“It is Sarah Palin who brings back these memories. In her new book, she reportedly takes Michelle Obama to task for her supposedly infamous remark from the 2008 campaign: “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

For the record February 18, 2008 newspapers recorded:

Speaking in Milwaukee, Wisconsin today, would-be First Lady Michelle Obama said, “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

Then in Madison, she said, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”

Cohen in a clearly blatant and biased partisan fashion immediately launches into the usual Black History Lesson that Ignorant Sarah and the rest of us fail miserably to understand

“It’s appalling that Palin and too many others fail to understand that fact – indeed so many facts of American history. They don’t offer the slightest hint that they can appreciate the history of the Obama family and that in Michelle’s case, her ancestors were slaves…

Gee- I wish Mr. Cohen had gone with The Obama’s to help them garner the Olympics for Chicago! Sounds like he really could have helped them with their sob story for which we all must seriously pay homage and let’s not forget white guilt.

Oh and then there was this:

“Sarah Palin teases that she might run for president. But she is unqualified – not just in the (let me count the) usual ways, but because she does not know the country. She could not be the president of black America nor of Hispanic America. She knows more about grizzlies than she does about African Americans – and she clearly has more interest in the former than the latter. Did she once just pick up the phone and ask Michelle Obama what she meant by her remark? Did she ask about her background? What it was like at Princeton”

ROFLMAO, what is this guy drinking? I’ll have some! At least she got to go to Princeton and Harvard I might add! Poor baby let’s just go ask her just how hard that was and while we are at it let’s ask how hard it is to be the first black woman in the White House and to travel the world and to receive Kings etc. etc. etc. A Rosa Parks – she is not. I would go ask Rosa what it was like to refuse to leave her seat – that I would do. And I would ask Rosa just before she died – was she proud of America before Obama was nominated? I’ll bet she was!

Mr. Cohen, as a woman who still doesn’t have equal rights under the Constitution, is taxed at the same rate as men but without equal representation, is in a class that is still under sexual slavery rampant through sex trafficking and the only class of human being totally unprotected under the law from hate speech such as Cunt, witch, ho and bitch—I am with Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton and Niki Haley and Jan Brewer and Sharon Angle and Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina. They had to endure being attacked for just being women not for hating America because life is unfair to women. Instead of not being proud of their country they are standing up making a difference for all Americans the same way our mothers and grandmothers did before us.

You won’t hear us crying or having anyone whining and asking everyone to hand us a damned thing for the past and present injustices against 52% of society — you don’t hear us screaming sexism and misogyny although that is exactly how they attempt to victimize us. The difference is – Michelle and her ilk remain victims the rest of us are true Femcitizens.

No, we are not at all ignorant of history and we are proud Americans in spite of America’s flaws. We have the grit of the Suffragettes and the stamina to fight for our rights just as we fought to gain Michelle’s rights. Rights for every minority group who now uses those rights and privileges as a bludgeoning tool of hatred against those who fought for them.

Read the whole sob story here and then write the lout and tell him what you think of his ignorance of history- cohenr@washpost.com
