Whores, Witches, Wing nuts, and Bitches running for public office

By: BettyJean Kling

Update* Join us Wed. 10/20 at 8pm EST-we will have an open mic discussion on this topic: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/freemenow/2010/10/21/the-majority-united

Originally dedicated to Geri, Hillary, and Sarah on 11/12/08, I have updated and am rededicating this to Meg, Nikki, Sharon, Christine and all the other women suffering the sting of misogyny. Men are not asked their measurement; they are not called sexist names then indignantly told it doesn’t rise to the level of blacks being called niggers. It most certainly does to us! Women are still enslaved by these words, still trafficked, humiliated for working in a man’s world although they protect our streets, put out fires, make decisions from the bench and damn near make up the entire population of the world.”

We can do better ladies and it starts here with you and me saying enough and get The Majority United! Enough women against women for party politics sake!

Twisted Logic Celebration
Posted on November 12, 2008 by freemenow

Tears were shed in the streets, throngs celebrating in Times Square could be heard from 1st. Ave., the media was in a frenzy, Obama supporters were in heaven, black leaders were lined up to tell us how proud they finally were of America (Michelle was thinking it to herself no doubt) and headlines read “History” was made on Nov. 4th 2008 in America because a black was elected to the White House. I was in tears too but I scratched my head and asked what the hell is so historic about placing yet another man in office?

Hold your celebrations folks. We are not there yet- history was not made – we did not overcome- and Martin Luther King’s dream was not realized. Wasn’t it King who said “I have a dream that my four little children will one day be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”? Weren’t some of those little children daughters?

So now all of a sudden skin color became the factor that everyone is judging how we make history? Was it because his face was black and for a short blip in our history blacks were kept as slaves? Or maybe some would say we are celebrating a black man reminds us of slavery and somehow this partially black man with no slavery background transcends that dark part of our history? Well that may be quite a stretch but we are still not there yet!

Women’s slavery has yet to be resolved – it is not a blip in history — it is a fact of a life for woman, and it’s been going on since the beginning of time. Women have been ignored, blamed, talked down to,  laughed at, held  back, paid less, worked harder, kept down, smacked around, humiliated, degraded, victimized, beaten, raped and are  murdered at the hands of men — their own husbands and fathers and are still daily victims right now.

This so-called historic Black candidate was not a product of the civil rights abuses of this country; he did not suffer mistreatment, during his candidacy as did both the female candidates. So I ask again what was so euphoric that millions were crying – some for joy and some from the release resulting of shedding their white guilt. Guilt they willingly accepted as their responsibility and obligated the rest of us to carry with along with them while they turned a blind eye to those of us who have been enslaved since the beginning of time and who were left behind yet again.

No- I maintain as do up to one half on this nations citizenry who is taxed yet not fully represented, history will not be made until every enslaved, mistreated or otherwise unrepresented citizen is equally represented, until Jeremiah Wright does not call anyone a nigger, until no women is ever again called a cunt, a bitch or a whore, until women support other women whether they fully agree on every issue or not and until a woman is elected as president of the United States of America.

Then let there be dancing in the streets and celebrations in every home and tears of joy to celebrate a truly historic accomplishment to be proud of.

Instead those of you who stand there with tears in your eyes as if you accomplished some great feat you damned so-called civil rights leader hypocrites! Civil rights include women’s rights — human rights!

  1. One must be a natural citizen to be our president.

Obama is a citizen of Indonesia, worth millions now and I can’t even fix my own home, I am an American, and patroiot, 76 years of age….hardly have enough to live on. I am also a veteran.

I have gone to many sites to find a grant to fix my home and then they offer me a better education. What in God’s name does this have in common? I have three Doctors degrees.

Obamas’ legal name is Soetoro….so what is Michells name? I am a profesional detective,

  2. My hope is that all women will unite and set aside politics and just realize in order to be heard we must become “The Majority United”.

Today is the time to join with women from all around the globe and say “Let’s unite”…

Women are the majority yet we are still not united!

Women it is up to all of us to unite!

    • First national NOW President Terry O’Neill said that anyone who calls a woman a “whore” should be fired.

Last week, the National Organization for Women and the PAC of the California NOW chapter took heat for their endorsement of state Attorney General Jerry Brown (D) over Meg Whitman (R) in the gubernatorial race in the wake of comments by a Brown aide that Whitman was a “whore.”

At the time, national NOW President Terry O’Neill said that anyone who “from here on” calls a woman a “whore” should be fired.

California NOW President Patty Bellasalma told the TPM blog on Thursday that the description of the Republican candidate for governor of California is accurate. “Meg Whitman could be described as ‘a political whore.’ Yes, that’s an accurate statement,” Bellasalma said after a TPM blogger called to ask her about a story that appeared on the Daily Caller website.

Looks like Terry covered Browns Democratic ass by changing her story to from now on but how will she cover Patty’s ass for Thursday’s comment? Is NOW a Democratic organization or a Women’s organization?

      • …Is NOW a Democratic organization or a Women’s organization? …”

        Just a whored organization.

        • I had such good hopes for NOW when we voted in the new president Terry O’Neil but it is obvious now that they are an extreme left- extremely Liberal – abortion only organization hell bent on lesbian rights rather than all women’s rights who will turn on any woman in a minute if she does not agree on their narrow platform.

A NATIONAL organization FOR women should encompass all women, not represent the minority to the exclusion of the vast majority of women. NOW continues to shrink and yet they continue to define feminism based on the minority members they have come to represent co-opting the term as their own, which justifiably belongs to every women.

ALL women includes the smaller percentage of liberal women whose choice includes gay rights and abortion but not to the exclusion of the vast majority of women made up of independent women who do not necessarily agree these are women’s main issues and conservative women who absolutely do not want to have those two issues come to identify all women.

          • bj, and yes, I am a broken record. Not national but a collection of 50 states, independant w/common cause. This is the way the founders beat the King’s tyranny and PRECISELY the way they provided us the POWER to do it under constitutional law.

One national organization is exactly the opposite way of getting things done, more it is not within our right or authority, constitutionally speaking.

And 50 years of the womens movement NOW, should show that DC listens ONLY to the message it wants to hear, then OVERSTEPS the authority granted in enumerated powers because nationally focused groups like NOW give them the APPEARANCE of authority.

            That said and consider this:

20 years ago, a group met in a tiny little Chicago apartment. They were educated people, academics, lawyers, all familiar w/consitutional law.

They had a vision for this nation and this think tank sat and worked out the vision for change, deliberately and pointedly working WITHIN the provisions as set forth in the Constitution; to wit, all change generates from the sovereign citizens, governing themselves thru their ONE voice, their state capitals.

And so, they put together this working strategy whereby they went about their vision working as provided, from the ground up; town by town, county by county, independantly within their states, collaboratively as a power group of about 2/3 of the states where they were strongest.

And they named this group “The Association of COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS for Reform Now.”

            A.C.O.R.N.

And they went about their work, mostly in inner cities where the dense populations had massive electoral voice, “invaded” every agency, school, organization, public office as they worked the system in county and state, working as well, a presense in the DC agencies and offices but not as the primary push, only as the ultimate co-ordinating “clearinghouse,” if you will.

By working from the ground up, town by town, they managed to overtake the country to the point that today, one man, their man, in that room now occupies the White House.

We may revile ACORN but the lesson should and can not be ignored.

IF WE MEAN to effect the change we want, we can NOT go to the feds, indeed, constitutionally speaking the pyramid of power is not DC down but YOUR TOWN, collective towns, then counties then states raining their will down to the constitutional BOTTOM of the Hill, DC.

What irks me PERSONALLY most about all organizations that appeal to and lobby DC is that they arrogantly decide FOR ME and other states when their right to self determine begins and ends in their own states.

And making it all the horror show it is and HAS BECOME, they have given DC license to overstep its bounds in EVERY AREA, creating a de facto dictatorship as you witness today.

For example, NOW. They do business w/federal level. they purported to speak for all women, they got DC to “bequeath” all these rights that most women DID NOT WANT and stick all women in 50 states with these consequences.

And opened the door to the federal gov’t as the King’s RULE instead of their REAL role, facillitator and sometimes arbitor of the INDEPENDANT State’s common business.

Am sorry for the length but the bottom line is that while the task seems more daunting, it is not only the simplest, most effective way, (as with ACORN), IT IS THE ONLY LEGAL WAY.

And it is on these grounds that I have resisted joining in the active fight on this national level.

I do my fighting where the founders provided my power of NO. The home front.

          • Beware: The REAL Feminists are coming! Extreme Liberal Democratic Party Molls move over- Majority Rules – read my next piece- we can do this if the majority will join me I have been here for 3 years beating the drum. The organization is setting here waiting to be filled to the brim. Independent, Conservative and formerly Democratic women are awakening – we see now we were being used and set up to fight each other to be kept from joining up and rising up, but here we are !

  3. Yes indeed.

  4. How can we ever be empowered women when we have organizations like NOW???

The national NOW President Terry O’Neill first condemned calling Meg Whitman a whore, and demanded that “someone be fired” until they found out that it was a Democrat Jerry Brown’s team, then California NOW President Parry Bellasalma, agreed that “yes it was an appropriate comment because Meg Whitman is a “political” whore”… NOW has been a joke ever since they supported the unqualified Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton…

NOW shames all women who truly want to inspire, encourage and support each other. The first step towards true female empowerment and ultimately freedom is to destroy the insidious power of NOW, and break the stranglehold that the Judases at NOW have on their members’ wallets and minds…

    • NOW does not speak for most women. As with all else, the renegade regime and their lacky propaganda media, give exposure (that we are to presume credibility) to those who sing their song.

NOW has made themselves a non-sequitor, long ago.

  5. If the 2 parties stand together shoulder to shoulder and let loose their propaganda arm against a candidate, for me that is a flashing neon sign TELLING ME that is the candidate we want.

I heard the Brown thing and thought “Kettle calling pot, black.”

I am not an afficianado of Meg. If it weren’t for piss poor “choices,” Ca. would have no choice at all.

But the politics of personal destruction, the sexism and misogyny tells all we need to know about the other guy that we need know.

truly a case of that old chinese proverb, “When you point your finger at someone else, you point 3, back at yourself.

  6. I am launching Woman’s Global Justice Group on the 23rd April 2011.
If anyone would like to know more contact me

  7. Notice the little nerdy, emasculated looking guy wearing the Sarah Palin T-shirt.

  8. When will people start civil rights law suits to stop the hate crimes such as slander and character decimation against women esp female politicians?

  9. Christine, you bring up another of my pet peeves.

BJ knows me, she knows I am a PROACTIVE type, I just do it more as my own loose cannon than huge groups.

On Tuesday, Oct. 12, due to my own proactive push, I may have well started the second revolution.

LITERALLY. I have the state groups behind me who have “signed on” to work the initiative, in NJ, starting in towns, during 2011.

That said and back to my pet peeve and please accept this from where it comes from not harsh critiicism but constructive “critique.”

Your comment belies the common mindset among far too many Americans, that is “When will people ……”

I read people opining thus all too often, what I read is “When will someone (else) do this for me?” and “Someone (else) should …..”

I have to say, the Good Lord helps those who help themselves. And so I say to you that YOU, ME, BJ, ALL OF US ARE that “someone.”

And therefore my response to your question, “When will people start ….” is “Get to it lady, NO TIME like the present!”

  10. Groups like “N.O.W.” and even some conservative woman’s group just don’t “GET IT”!!!
If they allow “other” woman to be spoken badly of…, then it just gives the “other” side the “OK” to speak badly of their side. And so on & so forth.
    UGH…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • You have a point but when you say “allow” there are different definitions and also, limits in what can be done.

Crass, sexist, nasty, yes but not illegal.

In all candor, when I heard it, I thought “The pot calling the kettle black,” because regardless of gender, I consider almost all political whores. And that for me is an appropros statement.

For a long time, I have been sensitized to the FACT that media and the renegade regime “handles” us.

There are SO MANY issues they and the media should be talking about and yet, the “story” is a word, a nasty word but to me, it is a huge divirsion from the real topic.

And that is the cesspool called California government, in general and in all its particulars.

By sensationalizing, they divirt the conversation from the real issues THAT NEITHER wants to answer.

Giving the media and their cohorts attention is to pick up the Enquirer and not the Current Events Book.

And so, I agree that such as this perpetuates the name calling, the sexism but it hides the underlying truth which is avoidance.

And as long as they can divert our attention with words like whore and what new uses men and women can find for cigars, then we are being manipulated and handled by people who do NOT want our attention where it belongs.

    • That is right and they just don’t care and that just proves they are not in it for the women at all! They are in it for themselves and are using women as a cover!

  11. Politics is a dirty business bj. It comes with the territory, how many times have you seen them eat their own?

“Lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.” ~~ Old Russian proverb

  12. Betty Jean, you said it so elegantly! Women should be given the same respect that would be given to a man. You are so correct – this is not about women’s rights, it’s about “human rights”. I am 62 years old and I have never seen such public abuse of women condoned by many in the MSM and in our organizations like NOW. What was the women’s rights movement about? It certainly was not about – some 40 years later – women being subject to humiliating and abusive epithets just because they wanted to run for public office.

    • Unbelievable and beyond pathetic- can you imagine that a women’s movement would sink to this level. Had the civil rights movement ate their own over party politics we would still be segregated. Imagine MLK saying the next time someone used the N word they should be fired? Unbelievable!

NOW is no longer relevant for all women and we should be sending them letters by the millions! Meanwhile we should be joining TMU the real group for all women.

      • Just read this morning that the split is something like 50% liberal women and 49% conservative. No, I don’t know where the other 1% are. lol

The divide is philosophical and ideological, much not areas of grey but wholly black or white.

Still, I think we must consider ourselves Americans first, our nation is in clear and present danger, our progeny’s future headed to poverty and indentured servitude.

And it is the doing of BOTH parties, not one or the other, neither good nor with ANY redeeming value, IMO.

Where I think we can combine to a majority is to become our nation’s defenders, else it won’t matter the rest, everyones’ liberty and rights are under attack.

        • “D-I-T-T-O”!!!!

        • Just read this morning that the split is something like 50% liberal women and 49% conservative. Unfortunately when we hear these words we tend to think all women fit neatly into these two categories and immediately place a erroneous descriptive on them.

First let me say, I don’t believe that for one minute. Next, I know from running around the country with self-described (myself included) liberal women during Hillary 2008, that those who call themselves Liberal are not- at least not what we have come to know as radical liberals! I also know from running around the other half of the election for Sarah, that those who call themselves Conservatives are not- at least not what we have come to know as radical conservatives!

Women have been brainwashed for years (probably began in the 60’s) to choose a label Conservative or Liberal and in doing so they have been taught the other is bad, bad, bad, hence it is ok for the media and political opponents to call our women politicians whores, witches, wing nuts, bitches and cunts.

Real women do not fit either label- real women are independent free thinkers who can apply liberal thought or conservative thought to issues as appropriate– we are not robots or cut-out dolls! Politicians have put us in far right or left boxes and it is up to us not to stay there but to do what minority groups have done! FIGHT LIKE HELL! And WIN!

Women should be free to think and act for themselves and in their own best interest- if we are ever to be free! When we stop being victims to this political propaganda, we will begin to make headway in our judicial system but we first have to show those in power we have a voice. The voice has to be a united one or at least a substantial sound from that of the vast majority united.

          • Always the salmon swimming upstream, I am libertarian. As far as right and left, I agree, it is the lightning rod, invented by the renegade regime and their propagandist arm, to create a divide amng not just women, but Americans.

            Divide and conquer, sound familiar?

As far as the womens’ movement, I never joined, I think it a strategic mistake to agitate for special interest status. I think the very act of sodoing is itself tacit admission that we are not equal, can not compete and need special protection.

We don’t. We can shoot a colt 45 just as good as any man, with a little effort. lol

POint being, Americans have for too long been manipulated to be at each others’ throats, this works for the renegade regime who have NO allegience to either left or right, their alliegience is power, corrupt power.

We have been duped and when I hear the mantra of left v. right from people I think, “Good Lord, when will they ever get it? They become the best weapons for gov’t against themselves!”

Anyway, time to put the red hats and blue hats in the garbage, put the red white and blue ones on, stand for all the principals guaranteed in the Constitution, take our place on level playing ground and go after the ones who ARE IN THE OPPRESSION BUSINESS and defeat them.

This agitating for an INdian Caste system must stop. We are equal, period. When we go to the feds to get them to declare us special, we not only defeat our whole cause but we give them authority the Constitution does not.

And within that authority is the word “No.”

BJ, the Constitution does not require us to ask. It reuires us to institute and if that means getting rid of every fat ass in DC, so be it.

It is THEY who institutionalize OPPRESSION. Even those who GET special protections are enslaved, they are owned and owing.

As for me, I refuse to be a member of a special group, a specially protected group or beholden.

“And Oz never did give nothin’ to the Tin Man, nothin’ he didn’t already have ..” ~~~ America

I have it. I don’t need some power grabbing corrupt guy in DC to bestow on me what he has no power to give, OR TAKE, what is mine.

  13. I would be very happy to see a legitimate female candidate. Sarah Palin was certainly not my answer to this and Hillary was the closest to a solid, strong, inspired female politician.

    • I believe we do need a good female candidate and I am afraid we will have to find one somewhere between the two . It seems both are too divisive to make all women comfortable. TMU is made up of all women from all sides and clearly there is a distaste for both so clearly we need another alternative that all women can embrace.

We need a woman and we need one now. So far I cannot see one on the horizon ready willing and able since Hillary and we know what happened to her. Unfortunately, until we unite all women and stop the cat fights – and speak with one strong voice – we are never going to see a female president! As it is now we are split in two camps each hating the other more deeply than we want a female president!
