Everyone heard not Obama: now everyone heard Obama

Things in NY are really heated over the Ground Zero Mosque.

At a huge protest Sunday sparks were flying when pro mosque supporters showed up. This mosque was suppose to “build a bridge” well the mosque/bridge is going up in flames and taking its supporters with it. NY is angry and it seems most of America is angry as well.

Local news is covering the protest showing a film clip of a construction worker saying “Hey, President Obama, it’s me Tony from Brooklyn “fughgettaboutit”.

The NY candidate for Governor, Paladino has a commercial running where he says “he will use his powers of eminent domain to claim the site”

Construction workers are claiming they will not build the mosque. Mayor Bloomberg’s approval has dropped 14 points. This is a hot issue and Obama’s along with Bloomberg and others pro statements have really ignited some raw emotions.

I think this mosque could very well be the issue that ends his Presidency–and how ironic is that?

The American people elected him and it wasn’t about whether he was or wasn’t a Muslim, as it should be, and his not being re elected will not be because he is or isn’t a Muslim but because he spoke as a President in favor of freedom of Religion, as it should be but in this case that freedom to which he spoke was Muslims having the right to build a mosque on the grounds of an Anti American terrorist attack– so in the end it will not be about religion or the freedoms pertaining to, it is about Americans standing on what to them is hallowed ground and looking to the POTUS to speak for what is rightfully Americas Hallowed Ground Zero and all that pertains to that.

Kind of like in Sept. 2001 when the then our POTUS spoke from Ground Zero and Americans gave him an approval rating of 90%. It was then just the right words spoken with compassion for AMERICA and how Americans felt that day. It wasn’t about politics nor playing to a world stage. There was something about President Bush standing there amongst the rubble of death and destruction, the American flag raised over the ground of this Anti American terrorist attack and simply saying “I can hear you, America”

Americans want to be heard and as another 2 term President who earned high approval ratings, Clinton told us “I feel your pain America”. Yes, we want to also have our deep raw emotions acknowledged with words of compassion spoken from the hearts of our American Presidents, as it should be. We remember those moments of Hope.

I wonder if President Obama comprehends that his spiral negative approval rating is not about his quoting of the first amendment at a Ramadan dinner but because of his lack of compassionate emotions to the real issue. Hear Us and Feel OUR Pain.

Warning- Extremely GRAPHIC 10 Min video of 911

Because that is what it is about, the first amendment is respected in NY, there are thousands of Mosques in NY, many built since 911. I have not heard one anti Ground Zero mosque protester say “no mosques at all” they are saying this is where we buried our dead, this is our hallowed ground and no mosque should be built HERE. But that message is not being heard and worse some are deliberately misinterpreting that message for political or self serving gain.

While the Imam Rauf is on tax payers expense account to the Middle east raising funds for the 100 million dollar mosque, so much for separation of church and state, his wife Daisy Kahn is speaking not about the insensitivity being shown in building a mosque at Ground Zero but of the insensitivity of NY’ers who just “hate Muslims”, and this is “building bridges” Miss Daisy?

The 911 families and those who oppose the mosque are called Bigots and Islamophobics. Mayor Bloomberg believes its Un-American to question the funding of the mosque and our POTUS is busy quoting the first amendment as if the first amendment had anything to do with opposing the mosque. Why equate the two?

How different Bush’s I hear you speech would have been if he added but this is freedom of religion. Or Clinton added but there is not a damned thing I can do about it. They simply said I hear you and I feel your pain and that was then and that is today all we really need to hear.

  1. Barack Obama Religious hipocracy. What was he doing at this Muslim dinner when he wouldn’t go to the Christian breakfast?

It seems that President Obama is distancing himself from the National Day of Prayer by nixing a formal early morning service and by not attending a large Catholic prayer breakfast the next morning. It seems that all he will do for tomorrow’s National Day of Prayer is sign a proclamation honoring the day, which originated in 1952 when Congress set aside the first Thursday in May for the observance.

President Obama decided that there will no longer be a “National Day of Prayer” celebration held in the White House in May. He doesn’t want to offend anyone. Where was his concern about offending Christians last January when he allowed the Muslims to hold a day of prayer on the capitol grounds.

    • It is pretty pompous, porous and bogus of him. Empty baloney. When he rejected the Day of Prayer, we ate it and respected his secular stance. To turn around and host a la-dee-dah DINNER at the White House for Muslims on a Friday evening is the most transparent thing this liar has done yet. He’s got all the moves of unfaithful husbands, on-the-make boyfriends and pick pockets. Who can possibly take his preaching seriously once he’s shown how he bluffs with a losing hand like this?

  2. “I think this mosque could very well be the issue that ends his Presidency–and how ironic is that?”

Oh, this just made me laugh out loud. Thank you!

It’s astounding to me how lacking in consistency the mosque proponents are. They insist that 70% of Americans are bigots and “islamophobes”, but when polls indicate voters’ confusion about Obama’s religion THEY’RE the ones who are shocked speechless before they recover enough to rush to proclaim “but he’s a Christian — how could everyone not know that?”

    Well — for example:
    — his referring to “my Muslim faith” (it’s on tape somewhere).

    — his dedicating NASA — NASA!!! — to Islamic outreach as its highest priority (god save us all, I am not making this up).

    — his reducing Muslim women’s rights to a question of whether western societies will “allow” them to wear the hijab (and, presumably, burkhas), when the real question is, will western societies protect Muslim women and girls who DON’T want to be “covered” from their male relatives who will kill them if they dare go uncovered.

    — the fact that he can’t speak a word of Spanish or French or even cogent English without a teleprompter, but can recite passages from the Koran by heart and with a perfect accent.

    — his bowing — deeply — to the Saudi King, which breaks a convention all presidents have honored since George Washington’s pronouncement that no American citizen, let alone the president, should ever bow to royalty or any foreign leader.

And on, and on, and on.

I don’t care what religion this president or any president follows. I just want this one GONE! before he does any more damage to our people, our economy, our standing in the world, or anything else.

I hope he stays on perpetual vacation until Hillary or Sarah takes his place and can start getting things back on track again. Even in this horrid economic climate, things just seem a little brighter when he’s not actively screwing things up.

    • This was so good – i was afraid it would not be seen as a comment – so I posted it as a piece of its own.
Way to go girl- wow did you nail it.
Stay with us – we need your kind of common sense here at TMU free us now.

  3. Oh, and speaking of our mass bigotry, here’s a great piece by Joseph C. Phillips:

    also at breitbart:

It includes another delicious LOL line:

“Americans are not cowards when it comes to discussions of race, neither are they dishonest. Rather, I believe Americans are simply bone-tired.”

  4. Thank You very well said. I for one don’t care what the
Religious beliefs of our President are. I do care what
his beliefs concerning this country are.
We are not for sale to the highest bidder.
100 million dollars for a mosque overlooking the
    WTC is unexceptable.
Take in the for sale sign.
