Bob Etheridge No: Renee Ellmers Yes for Congress

Spend Us Rich Etheridge

I saw Congressman Etheridge on CNBC, at a Budget Committee hearing, arguing for another stimulus bill. Same old same old —  so CNBC switched back to covering the stock market.

But, when I heard Etheridge calling for more spending, it reminded me of a recent article by economist Steve Hanke. In 1981,Margaret Thatcher faced high unemployment and big deficits. Instead of big spending stimulus bills, Thatcher cut government spending. She gave the private sector confidence and Britain’s economy boomed.

Congressman Bod Etheridge (D-NC2)from North Carolina, attended a fundraiser headlined by Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Washington, D.C. and was approached by some students, on a public sidewalk, they asked him whether he supported he supported the “Obama Agenda.”
The video is highly disturbing. He appears drunk but whatever his condition, there’s no excuse for such behavior and this congressman should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Democrats were given a chance to run the country, for four years they’ve controlled Congress, and they’ve ruled with an arrogance unparalleled in living memory. They’ve also had the white house for a year and a half, and they’ve become even more arrogant. In this particular case, we are lucky that Rep. Etheridge is vulnerable. According to the Cook Report, his district is an R+2 district and his opponent is credible, so if you’re in North Carolina, pass the following link along

NC Congressman assaulting a student watch the video! Note: He was asking “Who are you”  from the first hello congressman! He was combative as he approached the students asking “who are you” from afar before they even asked any question.
