No no no! Let’s not do THAT again: Free US Now

Another Rant by: BettyJean Kling

I have always been an Independent because of my independent nature- God made me that way.  I was a Hillary supporter and thought of all the candidates she was the best of the pick in terms of experience and had the most to prove and would have.  I pretty much hated Baby Bush but as of hate – I can hardly remember why- isn’t that funny?

Anyway, because of that deep hatred for Baby Bush, the war, the economy, and the desire for hope and change and the need to be rid of politics as usual and another insider – we wound up with OBAMA. Need I remind you that people actually idolized him?

They swooned, the fell all over themselves for him, they could see no wrong.  They overlooked or made excuses for every damned thing anyone ever tried to bring up. They would hear none of it. There were no red flags- not even a yellow caution flag was allowed.

 REMEMBER THAT?

I remember – how people felt about him and believed about him it is how some feel, think, and honestly believe about Sarah- RIGHT NOW!

Now don’t get your panties in a bunch – I am in NO WAY equating the two but I am saying – keep you eyes open and allow her to be seen as human and call her on mistakes so she can have the opportunity to fix them or NOT but at least with an open mind you will be able to see if there are things you really do not want in a candidate. Don’t do the same thing with Sarah in the Republican Party the Democrats did in the Republican Party.

Even now- his devoted supporters have no idea that he is not ‘The Savior’ himself and walks on water.

Below a list of his accomplishments according to an esteemed member of academia. Perhaps this will make you laugh before it brings you to your knees! It did me! It was hysterically funny and then I sobbed to think our youth is under the tutelage of such a professor. Tune in tonight as we discuss this list and why we cannot do this again only in the other party! The Tea Party is not nor should it be a Republican movement- Do not let the Republicans drive Independents out – We The People have a right to DRIVE republicans out if they try to take it away from us all of them up to and including Sarah. A Savior of either SEX is not what we want!

Below is what the Dems actually believe their man has done right – anyone care to list what the Right believes their man did right in his 8 years? Or list what their girl will do right besides put us under Republican leadership instead of Free Us Now

The following is a list of Obama accomplishments during his first six months in office.  These were prepared by Dr. Watson, Lynn University.

I am always being asked to grade Obama’s presidency. In place of offering him a grade, I put together a list of his accomplishments thus far.  I think you would agree that it is very impressive.  His first six months have been even more active than FDRs or LBJs the two standards for such assessments. Yet, there is little media attention given to much of what he has done. Of late, the media is focusing almost exclusively on Obama’s critics, without holding them responsible for the uncivil, unconstructive tone of their disagreements or without holding the previous administration responsible for getting us in such a deep hole. The misinformation and venom that now passes for political reporting and civic debate is beyond description.
As such, there is a need to set the record straight.  What most impresses me is the fact that Obama has accomplished so much not from a heavy-handed or top-down approach but from a style that has institutionalized efforts to reach across the aisle, encourage vigorous debate, and utilize town halls and panels of experts in the policy-making process.  Beyond the accomplishments, the process is good for democracy and our democratic processes have been battered and bruised in recent years.
Let me know if I missed anything in the list (surely I did).

  1. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/rulings/promise-broken/

Let us not neglect the promises broken or the beer summit or the Piece (of work)Prize or the pardoning of a turkey…

  2. Number 91, decided to rebalance the power in Congress by having democrats resign rather than run again.

    http://dailypuma.blogspot.com/2010/02/breaking-news-evan-bayh-pulls-barack.html

  3. Inspired James Carville’s book ” 40 More Years: How the Democrats Will Rule The Next Generation.” “…why Democrats are going to keep winning. (Two words: young people.) In short, the Republicans are going to keep getting spanked again and again for forty more years because we’re right and they’re wrong, and Americans know it.”

to my knees and peeing myself

    • Anna Anna Anna,
We are all on the floor peeing ourselves. If this is what is in our schools of higher academia – let’s be excited that we had drop-outs!
Besides cleaning out the house and senate – we had better clean out – the universities also!
WTF- then theri is the loon who blew away 3 friends – did you know she is a rabbid ( rabbid great word for her) Obama supporter?
For 30 years I have been preaching Voter Imposed Term Limits .
Holy Hell – it is later – much much later than we think!

  4. YEAH Evan Bayh!!!
I hope PUMA’s re-unite under the “HOPE” he holds Obama’s feet to the fire between now & when he leaves the Senate.
Then take a bit of a break & run for Prez in 2012!!!
    In response to this post:
“I too reject Hero-Worship” across the board!!

    • He is smart enough to know that voting for that HC bill was his waterloo.
I think he is also smart enough to know the TP is not a Republican movement!
My guess is the smart ones will start to think third party! If not they are dumber than dirt!
Clearly neither party has any credibility left and the staunch R’s and D’s are entirely lemmings !
Our only hope is a third party with Independent supporters.

  5. What is the old saying? The road is paved with “good intentions” Believe me this President does not have the best intentions in mind for the ordiinary citizen. And as much as I like James Carville, believe me even he knows this isn’t the right President. If you look at that list it just continues to increase the debt that our great granchildren will have to pay for. I don’t normally respond to blogs, it is much better for my blood pressure but if this list is the best some “educator” can produce then the schools are in worse shape than I thought!

    • Aznana,
Long time no see- I think I know you from a while back if i am not mistaken.
In any event – we did a show last night – we are considering either – ammending the list with our own truth explainations for each of the 90, or creating a list of 90 failures.

Won’t that be fun? Oh and we will sumbit it to the esteemed professor.

Don’t be a stranger – we have 9 months to make sure R’s do not co-opt the TP=Tea Party and the Dems are run out of town. We need Independent – moderate new commers from either party balancing things out till we raise a third party – but then who knows – we may raise one in 9 months!

      And in 2y 9m – out with the O!

  6. Sorry, the old saying is “the road to hell is paved with good intentions”. More apropro don’t you think?

  7. OK
91= Decreed the rebalance the power in Congress by having democrats resign rather than run again

92= Decreed having democrats resign rather gives a new democrat a better chance to save the seat in NOV.

93= Held a beer summit between a racist black Professor and a white cop doing his job right while ignoring a women good samaritan

94= Was nominated for a peace price for promising to end a war

95= Was awarded the peace prize for escallating the war he promised to end.

96= reversed an indulgent slobbering love affair between himself and the press “CORPSE” into an abstinence for 7 months

97= humiliated his daughter by disclosing her poor grades to the entire world in order to make a point about working harder

Come on everyone let’s make this list reach 200 – I know we can.
