Beastiality: On Primetime TV?

Another Rant By: BettyJean Kling

Good grief, while I am gathering information about ads and programming sexualizing America by using females in degrading and humiliating propaganda which attempts to brainwash our boys and girls into creating norms relegating ladies into prey and our gentlemen into predators – something far more heinous is going on right under our noses.

On Sunday January 3 2010 we started off this new decade with what cannot be described any other way than but with decadence. What else would you call a prime time show that appeals to families and children and called “American Dad” of all things and portrays a father as an idiot who appears to sexually relieve a horse in order to accommodate a stall hand who he has just abused and who he hopes will get him out of a fix with his agitated wife!

Don’t take my word for it – or the right wing nuts – judge for yorself if this is appropriate for prime time TV and if you want your kids to run across this either on TV- or on You Tube or at the Library or on one of the classmates computers since it is so readily available and your kid is sure to see it . Remember – your kid will see it and be impressed one way or another by the image. I was – you will be too! http://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/TakeAction.asp?id=364

Of what redeeming value are any of these things that we now call freedom of speech or art when they corrupt or otherwise confuse or pervert a young mind not ready to discern fact from fiction or perverse comedy as humor appealing to the lowest common denominator? In plain English what kind of ass thinks the above referenced  episode is funny and worth airing on public airwaves during prime time TV to a child watching audience?

Obviously, we have come to a point in time where we can no longer trust the FCC to monitor common decency.Yes I do want to monitor common decency before they start showing snuff films which I am sure will soon fall under the category of art as has the starving to death of Nativity the dog!

The Dubious Art Of Torture
A ghastly story circulating on the Web since last year concerns a performance by Costa Rican artist Guilermo Vargas Habacuc, who tied a starving stray dog in a gallery space in Nicarugua, out of reach but not the smell of food, and let him die. After a deluge of outraged messages, the gallery denied the story, saying the obviously near-death dog had escaped. (Gallery reasoning here, via Edward Hussein Winkleman.

A picture is worth a thousand words – look at this dog starving to death tied to a wall while people mill around with food and drink oblivious to the plight of this poor animal.

No doubt- if we allow it – human beings are lower than dirt- yes we need to monitor common decency.  In Germany for example there is no law against cannibalism so cannibals live there and eat each other. I do not want that aired where young folks can see that either- sorry call me a right wing nut case if you must but bending a yound brain in these ways should be criminalized and ajudicated as a high crime! And anyone who doesn’t agree is one sick demented jackass who should not be trusted around animals or humans never mind children.  What kind of a demented mind comes up with this shit for human consumption let alone child consumption? I can only imagine the childhood these people had — mine was far from idealic and I could not hurt a living thing unless cornered or in self defence, yet these people seem bent on destroying young innocent minds either to make up for their own torture or else  just for the hell of it. Either way – it’s sick, purposeful and criminal!
