Are you a Constitutionalist?

Take the following test and see if you, might be a Constitutionalist by whoever drew up this list. I have no idea how to rate how many make you how much of one but this test will supposedly give you an indication of what a Constitutionalist believes. I am open to comments and wonder how many of us tally up a good number of these!

1. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that every congressman, senator, President, and Supreme Court justice is required to obey the U.S. Constitution.

2. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that before the United States invades and occupies another country, Congress must first declare war.

3. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe the federal government should live within its means, like everyone else is forced to do.

4. You might be a Constitutionalist if you think that taking away people’s liberties in the name of security is not patriotic, nor does it make the country more secure.

5. You might be a Constitutionalist if you would like to see politicians be forced to abide by the same laws they make everyone else submit to.

6. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that we have three “separate but equal” branches of government that are supposed to hold each other in check and balance.

7. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that the federal government has no authority to be involved in education or law enforcement, or in any other issue that the Tenth Amendment reserves to the States, or to the People.

8. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that gun control laws do nothing but aid and abet criminals while trampling the rights and freedoms of law-abiding citizens.

9. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that the income tax is both unconstitutional and immoral, and, along with the I.R.S. and the Federal Reserve, should be abolished.

10. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe the federal government had no authority to tell former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore that he could not display a monument containing the Ten Commandments in the Alabama Judicial Building in Montgomery; or to tell a Pace, Florida, high school principal that he could not pray before a meal.

11. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that Congress or the White House or any sovereign State is not required to submit to unconstitutional Supreme Court rulings.

12. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that freedom has nothing in common with illegal immigration.

13. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that outsourcing American jobs overseas is not good for America.

14. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that the United States should get out of the United Nations and get the United Nations out of the United States.

15. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that it is not unconstitutional for children in public schools to pray or read the Bible.

16. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that the Boy Scouts are not a threat to America.

17. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that the federal government should honor its commitments to America’s veterans and stop using U.S. military personnel as guinea pigs for testing drugs and chemicals.

18. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that U.S. troops should never serve under foreign commanders or wear the uniform or insignia of the United Nations, and that they must never submit to illegal orders, such as turning their weapons against American citizens, or confiscating the guns of U.S. citizens.

19. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that the federal government has no business bribing churches and faith-based organizations with federal tax dollars.

20. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that federal agents who murder American citizens should be held to the same laws and punishments that any other citizen would be held to. (Can anyone say, “Waco” and “Ruby Ridge”?)

21. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that NAFTA, GATT, the WTO, and the FTAA (and similar agreements) are disastrous compromises of America’s national sovereignty and independence.

22. You might be a Constitutionalist if you would like to see congressmen and senators be required to actually read a bill before passing it into law.

23. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that it is the job of government to protect and secure God-given rights, not use its power to take those rights away.

24. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that there is nothing unconstitutional about the public acknowledgement of God and our Christian heritage.

25. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that government bailouts and “stimulus” expenditures defy virtually every principle of free enterprise and are a flagrant leap into socialism.

26. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that airport screeners have no business touching women’s breasts, using sophisticated machinery to look through passengers’ clothing to see their naked bodies, confiscating fingernail clippers, or denying pilots from carrying handguns.

27. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that many public schools’ “zero-tolerance” policies are just plain stupid.

28. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that parents have a right to home-school their children.

29. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that governmental seizure of private property is plain, old-fashioned thievery.

30. You might be a Constitutionalist if you are personally determined to not submit to any kind of forced vaccination.

31. You might be a Constitutionalist if you oppose any kind of national health insurance.

32. You might be a Constitutionalist if you believe that U.S. troops are not the world’s policemen, that they are not “nation-builders,” and that their purpose is only to defend American lives and property, not to be the enforcement arm of international commercial interests or global elitists.

33. You might be a Constitutionalist if you understand that the county Sheriff is the highest law enforcement officer of his district and that federal law enforcement (much of which is unconstitutionally organized, anyway) is obligated to submit to his authority.

34. You might be a Constitutionalist if you are determined to oppose America’s merger with any kind of regional, hemispheric, or international government, such as the North American Union.

35. You might be a Constitutionalist if you oppose sending billions of taxpayer dollars as foreign aid; the U.S. State Department meddling into the private affairs of foreign countries; and ubiquitous foreign entanglements that require vast sums of money, create animosity and hostility towards us, and expose us to foreign wars and conflicts in which we have no national interest.

36. You might be a Constitutionalist if you would like to meet one single congressman or senator besides Ron Paul who acts as if he or she has ever read the U.S. Constitution.

Well, how did you fare? Are you a Constitutionalist? If so, your country desperately needs you to stand up and fight for freedom’s principles before they are forever taken from us. This means never again voting for anyone–from any party–who will not preserve, protect, and defend the U.S. Constitution.

So, Are you a Constitutionalist?

  1. I am definitely a Constitutionalist!

I agree with all the 36 points and this is most amazing in and of itself!

I can now refer to myself as an “American Constitutionalist”!

I love my Country and my fellow Americans and I will do my best to stand up and fight for the RIGHTS and FREEDOMS that have been passed on to all Americans, to preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution!

  2. Amazing! I agreed with all 36 points as well. I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution when I enlisted, and I don’t think discharge from service relieves us of that responsibility. It’s a lifetime commitment. I also continue to pledge allegiance to the Flag that I served under.

    • Hey! Palin Democrat! In a typical Palin “inyerface RINO/GOP” tonight she endorced the true conservative candidate in NY, Hoffman. Here:

      https://freemenow.wordpress.com/

This may come as a huge surprise to you and not, but the list above is close to the hearts of conservatives, too.

Indeed, they are attacked by the gov’t machine and their lackey media, poltics of personal destruction, sullying their names, characters and distorting their positions BECAUSE these 36 points are integral to their belief systems.

The division among Americans is perpetrated and exacerbated by a lying media. They present liberals to conservatives and vice versa as loons.

This movement shows two things: 1.) We are not loons and more importantly, 2.) We have a LOT more in common than the machine wants us to know.

      • It doesn’t come as any surprise to me at all that conservatives agree with most, if not all, of these 36 points. That’s why I spend a lot of my time with them. And they are also becoming increasingly aware of the divisions sown by the media that you referenced. The media and the beltway elites don’t want us to talk about or remember what we have in common, because if we ever fully unite against them, it’s all over for them.

        • Precisely re: media.

Conservatives have long know they have not been the silent majority, but the silenCED majority.

Democrats and moderates got a pretty rude awakening to how it feels, these 40 years of being shut out of the dichotomy when 2 million people showed in DC and gov’t insisted there were maybe 75,000.

Welcome to the battle, I am a consitutionalist for a long, long, time. Comrades in arms, we must stand shoulder to shoulder to rescue are nation from 3 branches loaded up w/poseurs.

          • Thank you. And I agree, we have to stand shoulder to shoulder to restore the power to the people, where it belongs. We already know that we are going to have to fight the MSM and both political parties.
But they have awakened a sleeping giant, and people are coming together across the political spectrum to fight the travesty that we are now witnessing. I don’t think they’re going to be able to divide us on issues as effectively as they have in the past, no matter how fast they crank the Wurlitzer.

  3. BTW, Palin IS a conservative (loon .. lol).

  4. I would add a #37,
You might be a Consitutionalist if you believe that special interests, special protections, special treatment is antithetical to the equal protection clause and bill of rights:

An email I sent and broadcast on some of my groups. Food for thought at this site, especially.

    Divided We Fall

Conservative/Liberal faux labels meant to divide. …. divided we fall.

    We have been had.

There are perhaps, 3% die hard, off the cliff liberals or conservatives who rise to the level, or if you prefer, sink to the level of the description.

The rest of us have been propagandized to think Americans themselves are deeply and hopelessly divided.

We are not and 20/20 shows we have never been. This is the ephiphany many are having these days.

Like so many other issues in the dichotomy, this fact has been camoflaged by the gov’t and media …. divided we fall.

Legislation, sold with the altruistic purpose of “humane” rights for those “left behind, downtrodden,” now including the scofflaw illegals, …. affirmative action, “special” interests AND hate crimes legislation have served for gov’t the INTENDED consequences and for well meaning Americans, the UNINTENDED consequences of fractionalizing and factionalizing us further …. divided, we fall.

Divirsity by definition, DIVIDES it DOES NOT unite. This was not the citizens’ purpose but in 20/20, certainly, the gov’ts’. … divided, we fall.

Even to the point of parents vs. their own children for if lobbyists such as AARP does NOT work to get special favors granted for seniors at the expense of their OWN children and grandchildren, what does it do?

We have become a nation morphed from e pluribus unem to Balkanized “special” interests.

In a nation that is founded on equal protection and equal opportunity, we have unwittingly (Oh, God! what have we done?) allowed gov’t to create a WORKING caste system.

Insodoing, the division is long, deep, alive and well, the “special” vs. the “unspecial.”

Like little children in the throes of sibling rivalry trying to be THE favorite with mommy, we are to our shame, COMPLICIT in the declaration that mommy has both the power and the AUTHORITY to choose whom, among her children is favored and who is not.

Shame on us … we have bought into this and their goal of … divided we fall.

To rectify, we must now stand shoulder to shoulder, while we DEMAND the reconstitution of Consitutional law, be READY and on board with the repeal the legislation that is divisive and unconstitutional. We MUST stand ready to give up any claim to special interest and be content with the equal liberty for all provisions as the founding fathers’ presciently instituted.

By signing on to “special interests” we have promoted, propagated and perpetuated our OWN demise ….. divided, we fall.

Said special interests account for much of the corruption and buying offf of our representatives, they work for the lobbies, not us. Lobbies MUST be outlawed. Special interestes by definition, unconsitutional.

Those groups we belong to by choice, such as AARP, ACLU, we must cancel. Those groups we belong to such as the Association of Realtors, the Teachers’ and other Unions we must agitate from within and demand they stop lobbying Congress for UNFAIR advantage over other Americans.

For appealing for our own special class status, is to at once work against our fellow Americans, Constitutional law and vest the unconsitutional power into DC.

WE ALL SCREAM ABOUT REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH BUT WHY NOT, “REDISTRIBUTION OF RIGHT AND LIBERTIES?”

It has opened the door and led us to the final and most lethal special interest, the GLOBAL special interest.

Special interest, Affirmative Action MUST be abolished and those well meaning Americans who have bought the snake oil MUST come to understand that they can not have it both ways.

Either everyone is equal under the law or they are not.

Either this is gov’t of, for and by the people or gov’t by patriarchal and ultimately tyranical gov’t.

Either we stand and protect the Consitution that protects us all, EQUALLY, or we do not.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.

    You know my vote.

    • What you said! LOL. I answered your other comment before I saw this one, btw, but I agree with everything in it.

  5. I absolutely agree with Bib and palindemocrat!

Special Interest, Lobbyists, Pork Laden Interests and Political Self Interest “Must Go”!

Just look at what happens when greed and the abuse of power takes place, we have the decline of our nation!

We The People have to decide upon what is in the best interest for America and the American People.

We cannot have it both ways!

We cannot complain and protest about Cap and Trade, Bailouts, the Healthcare Debaucle, Trillions and Trillians and Trillions of dollars that are coming out of our pockets and the rest of the outrageous actions, if you continue to allow those who would corrupt the system!

This door has been open for much too long and while some have been “favored”, there are others who have suffered the ill effects of this “redistribution”. I fail to see the equality of this practice!

Are we not all Americans and do we not deserve to be treated equally?

Is it not time to dispense with a corrupt and flawed system?

We have stood by and turned our heads the other way and whispered our dislike of this rogue system yet, we allow this behavior to continue.

Now, we have all learned a very valuable lesson that when our lives and our livelihoods are being affected by this rogue system, there is a hefty price to be paid!

It will be up to each and every American as (palindemocrat) states in the above post, “we have to stand shoulder to shoulder to restore the power to the people, where it belongs.”

“Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.”
    (So true Bib!)

  6. Having read this I believed it was really informative. I appreciate you finding the time and
energy to put this information together. I once
again find myself personally spending a lot of time both reading and commenting.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!
