Should this actually happen, this simple action will make a strong statement.
I am told the story below is true I am not so sure but it may come to pass under the current regime. After all POTUS spoke at Georgetown U last week and had the nerve to request statue of Christ be covered. I say whatever your religion – you are entitled to it but if you are going to speak at a Catholic University you do not go into their house and not respect their God after going to Far East and bowing in respect to their King!
But what do I know? I figure anyone who would bow to a Muslim King who allows 37 year old men to accept 8 year old brides as a gambling debt payment could at least respect that stature Jesus Christ is held in at a Catholic University. Based on that and his comments that America is not a Christian country, anything is possible and dare I say probable.
For those of you who really do not care about religion- that’s fine too my beef is not over the religious aspect alone it is as much over these two facts –
1- If we are to believe we are a government of the people for the people by the people, why are these things done by our Government without ever discussing it with We The People?
2- Carolyn Cook reminds us -if true it would replace the only currency that featured a woman on it. We have many great women – we are ignored She must not be removed– it must stop. NOW! Need I remind you- Any woman’s visage place on our money would not look like any other president either or does that line just work for Obama?
Please consider this… Refuse to accept these if and when they are handed to you. I received one from the Post Office as change and I asked for a dollar bill instead. The lady just smiled and said ‘way to go’, so she had read this e -mail. Please help out…our world is in enough trouble without this too!!!!!

“In God We Trust” was add to our pledge and money in the last sixty years it should not be their they did it because to seperate us from communist and for a strengthining of morality ( so much for that )…
Constitutionaly it should not be their, and if you read all your history one of our founding fathers President George Washington supported Separation of Church and State, glad to see him on the dollar coin, but it should be Alice Paul 😉

I tried once to get women to ONLY use the Susan B Anthony dollar coins.I thought that would make a statement since women have the buying power.
I think that’s what I will do use only OUR currency. Susan B Anthony dollar coins.

They are hard to carry around which is why I am sure they did do it.
Interesting the long Island railroad gives them as change when you buy your rail tickets.
I am going to use them as my form of cash.IF women start going to the bank and requesting them instead of the male bills then maybe they will think twice about replacing them with yet another man.

ummmm…protesting these coins are silly. if you actually accept one, and study the coin, you will notice it still says E pluribus unum and In God we trust on the side of the coin (where the ridges are on a quarter.)

Of all the things the government does to “We the People” that has a negative effect like Social Security, Medicare, Free ride with their health care, Free ride with their pension. Wasting tax payer money for PORK legislation. Just to name a few. You think rejecting money this is going to send any message at all? First, this was designed and approved under the BUSH administration…..second it contains the words
“IN GOD WE TRUST” on the side of the coin. Do your homework before you start to throw stones!! I ‘m sick of you people who waste time and energy in finding negatitivy in our world…if you would put that much effort in trusting and reaching out…the world would be a better place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m sorry to disagree with you here, but the american people seem content to find arguments and debates in life. Putting it on the side of the coin is like the small print on a “great” deal. It’s underhanded, low, and deceitful. Do you consider a car salesman a good person? No, you think they’re a scam artist, like any salesman, because the fine print ends up biting you in the ass somewhere. Like “100,000 mile engine warranty guaranteed!!” And if you check the fine print “…if you have every bit of your service and maintenance performed by us and on or before the mileage without any lapse in scheduling”. So you show up for an oil change at 3,001 miles and oops, no more coverage. If we’re covering statues of Jesus Christ…..there’s no add on to this sentance. Let’s hope Mr. president never goes to Brazil, I don’t think they can cover that statue. I say Merry Christmas, I salute our flag and our troups, I believe in God and do my best to follow in his word. And I don’t care if you worship Buddah or face the east 3 times a day to pray, but we are FREE to do as we please. But do NOT come to this country and disrespect us for not speaking spanish/arabic/chinese to better accept you.
