  1. BJ – You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Betty Jean, Louisa has a special spot in my prayers as do you and your family. I keep thinking about you and sending prayers and thoughts your way throughout the day.

  3. I read that you said Louisa squeezed your hand, that brought tears to my eyes.

  4. Betty Jean, I am so hoping that everyday there is a little step forward from Louisa. She sure sounds like a fighter, like her mom. Be with her and Denise and know you have love, support and prayers going your way. Lighting another candle for Louisa.

  5. Betty Jean, I just wanted you to know that we are keeping you and your family in our prayers. What an awful thing to happen to a family .I have been praying for all of you through out the day.
My daughter went through a relationship with a very sick person. We found out that he was beating on her,
pulling her hair out and anything else that he could get away with. We got her out of it.He even threatened to kill my husband and I also.We called the police and they told us that they couldn’t do anything unless he committed a crime. In other words if he kill us.

  6. Betty Jean, have you emailed Greta at Gretawire.com or Gretawire.foxnews.com. Maybe she can help with what you want to do with Louisa’s law.

  7. Betty Jean~ My heart aches for you, Denise and Louisa. I wish that I lived closer, so that I could be with my sister-in-law. I absolutely love Denise with all of my heart and would do anything in the world for her. There are no words to describe the sadness that I feel in my soul. All that I can do is pray for the girls, which I do every waking moment. I’m so, so sorry for what your family has suffered at the hands of my brother. If I can do anything for you, please don’t hesitate to call. Much love. Sherri

  8. I’m following this tragedy from half a world away in Kenya. Just want to let Betty Jean know that there’s people throughout the world who are praying for her family, and not just fellow Pumas or Americans or women. That means there’s light at the end of the tunnel because there will always be someone to carry the torch. Your daughter is more than you can see lying no that hospital bed. She is the joy she showed to others. She’s the courage that stood in front of that shotgun muzzle. I wish you all well.

  9. Reflecting upon what brought us women here. The journey that began with the support of an incredible woman running for President, Hillary. God how lifted we all felt. Yes it is our time finally our time, Our Change. We walked with determination and strength and fought for what we believed. Deflated, we found the courage to continue the fight and keep walking forward for what we believe. Our Change.
We see in Betty Jeans overwhelmingly sad tragedy yet another reason to fight and walk behind another incredible woman. Her Strength and Her determination to Change what we have willingly accepted for far too long.
    Beaten down, Beaten up
    Women.
We will lift you and in the process lift ourselves.

    Louisas Law.
    Blessings BJ

  10. BJ, You and your family have been on my mind constantly since I heard this awful news. I am so thankful that you have some hope to hold onto. You deserve so much more than what has been handed to you. You have given so much to try and change things for our country and I for onewant to thank you. Please know that you are in our prayers and we are praying for your Christmas miracle. Much love, Sandy

  11. Betty Jean, like AngelShepherd I am watching from far away – in my case from New Zealand. I too have been praying for your family and made a donation to our national Women’s Refuge organisation as a gesture in recognition of your own, Louisa and Denise’s suffering. Please be aware that you and your daughters have made friends the world over who are praying for you and wishing you well. With love to you all, Linda
